Drs. Stephen Page and Kari Dunning presented on therapy dosing for stroke recovery at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) and American Society for Neurological Rehabilitation (ASNR) conference Oct. 16, 2008, in Toronto, Canada.

The NeuromotorRecovery and Rehabilitation Lab had three invited lectures at the Ohio OT Association annual meeting Oct. 11 on new approaches to neurorehabilitation and neuroplasticity. At that meeting, the Lab also received a "Model Practice Award" in Research and lab member Valerie Hermann, M.S., O.T.R./L. received a "Model Practice Award" in Service. Similarly, the Lab also is presenting 2 posters at the Ohio PT Association state meeting Oct. 17 regarding mental imagery as a rehabilitative technique including the ability to rewire the brain.
